The modern mobility scooter features simple-to-use controls and practical storage space, providing the user with the freedom to get about independently, in comfort and style.

Broadly, mobility scooters fall into three categories - car-boot, midi and maxi. Car-boot mobility scooters are designed to be lightweight and easy to disassemble for storing in cars. We generally recommend car-boot mobility scooters are for light use only.

Midi mobility scooters typically have a greater range than car-boot scooters and are not designed to be disassembled regularly. We advise that midi scooters are for pavement use only.

Maxi mobility scooters are the most heavyweight and durable on offer. They provide the greatest range and are more suitable for users living in more remote locations. Whilst most maxi models are road legal, we still recommend that road use is kept to a minimum for your own safety.
